Question for my Cysters!

Last week I started a period that lasted from Sunday to Friday. Mostly brown blood... but it was a period and a nice flow because I needed real pads and not the usual panty liners (which I use for my light flow days).

On Saturday night, my husband and I BD’d and I spotted afterwards, some light reddish pink blood. Following this, I began to exercise vigorously, more than I have in over a year, and I did so twice. Then, we BD’d again earlier today, and this time the blood was bright red and even dripping down into the toilet.

I sat there and wondered what was happening. Until the thought came to me, that this could possibly be a cyst rupturing.

I heard that vigorous exercise and sexual intercourse (on the rougher side) can cause your cysts to rupture and bleed. I believe this is what’s happening. Have any of you cysters experienced this before and got it confirmed as well by your gyn?
