Is Oakley ok for a girls name?

We’ve loved the name Oakley for our girl, but we’ve been sharing it with extended family when they ask (because I am an idiot), and no one seems to be a fan/ they keep telling me about the boys they know named Oakley. I know their opinions don’t really matter that much, but it has me worried that this doesn’t actually work as a girls name. Is she going to hate me for naming her this?

I think that is a super cute name for a baby girl! You could even spell it oakleigh if you wanted to.
