plus size and pregnant

So my first appointment this morning was a little disheartening. She was very clear that because of my morbid obesity(6'1 and 344 lbs) she would see me for my 13 week appointment and then probably refer me to an OB. Which is fine. I figured she might. So then after I have told her I just had diabetes testing within the last couple months before I even got pregnant she still insists I get blood drawn to check yet again. I think they took a total of 10 vials from me and also 2 urine samples after the slough of paperwork this doctor ordered. And she said she would be referring me to a dietician. Which I figured okay cool probably won't see one I can choose salad over fried chicken on my own thanks. But the call I got is from a diabetes clinic saying I was referred for gestational diabetes education...which I haven't even been able to get tested for yet. time to shop for a new doc I think or am I overreacting
