Pumping at night?

Moms whose babies sleep through the night, are you getting up to pump still? My little guy is 6 months and is going through sleep training. Once he starts sleeping through the night, do I need to pump? He usually comfort nurses a lot at night currently.

I pump right before I go to bed. It helped reduce the pain & leakage. My daughter sleeps 6-8 hours straight at night and she’s 5 months old. I don’t wake up to pump because I need to get my rest.

I wouldn’t. If you do your supply won’t decrease. If you leave it be, your supply should naturally adjust to how much he is eating in a few days

The first time my little one slept through the night i woke up in pain so I had to pump, second time I just pumped a tiny bit so I wasn’t in pain anymore, and after that I just didn’t bother. I didn’t seem to have an issue with supply

I didn’t and my supply was fine. The only time I did was if I needed more milk for the next day

I would wake up between 4-5am in pain and have to pump. I'm currently back to working and I get up at 5am now anyway, so its only an issue on the weekends.
