To fast or not?

Do I fast for 1 hr glucose test? My appointment is tomorrow at 9:30 am. My doctor said if I absolutely have to eat, to eat eggs. But now I’m hearing conflicting reviews. Fasting will give a false result and eating will throw it off too. What the hell do I do? Today I am avoiding high sugars and carbs.

I was told to have something high in protein before the 1 hour test. The 3 hour test you have to fast for.

I had two eggs for breakfast and passed with flying colors.
I wouldn't fast for the one hour. just have protein for Breakfast that day.

you're should but my Dr said how can I tell a pregnant women not to eat so she let me eat enough I wasn't starving since I didn't do mine till 1pm

I dont know if the test is different where you are hut in the UK you are suppose to fast from the night before
