Virtual assistant

Is being a virtual assistant something that’s real? I love doing office related things. I live in a small city so I’ve applied to all the receptionist jobs and haven’t heard back.

I help my boyfriend a lot with his business. Anything he needs, I do. I don’t work right now so I ask for things to do. But I’ll do stuff like write up certain schedules, file paperwork, upload information online, organize mail, change internet plans, stuff like that I really liked doing. I realized I could probably do that for other people but wanted to make sure it was a real thing
