Belly button

My baby is almost 3 weeks old, his belly button fell off a day before he turned 2 weeks, I notice it still bleeds a bit. No puss and it’s not red but little dots of blood will be on his onesie and sometimes his diaper. It scabs then the scab falls off and it looks great then it bleeds again. We are still folding his diaper down To prevent rubbing. Been cleaning it every diaper change. Is this normal 😭 pic of my handsome boy 😊

Update: it finally is all healed!! We tried shorts and shirts for a few days and the scan finally fell off and hasn’t returned! Thanks everyone for he advice ❤️
