Labor?

So I’m contracting every 10 minutes and they last like 45 seconds.. this is my 3rd baby BUT for my first I got induced and the second my water just broke (literally like in the movies) . I’m not sure to go in cause I lost my mucous plug two days ago and right now i keep having bowel movements. What should I do?

Update: just called my doctor and told me to go in since its my third the 5-1-1 rule only applies to first time moms. Second or third labor goes faster . Thank you!

My doctor said 5 minutes apart for an hour is when I should start planning on getting to the hospital.

Wait until they’re every 5 minutes and last a minute long before you go in. Seems to be the general rule of thumb.

Hospitals want u to wait until ur contractions are 5 mins apart for atleast an hour.. I had contractions last night ranging from 8-10 mins apart for a little over an hour and then they stopped and today at my appt I was only dilated to a 2. My due date is tomorrow so my dr did another membrane sweep to see if it’ll help send me into labor
