Nebuliser ?

My 2 months old baby has a congested nose, my mom is against me using the nebulizer but should I ??
Edit- thanks everyone - Doc prescribed only a saline solution because she was congested, My mum with her old midwife tales taught it might cause an addiction 🤦🏽‍♀️ she’s doing better now.

Only if it was given to you with instructions from a ped. You shouldn’t use one that is just laying around.

If your doctor perscribed it then yes, follow what your doctor has said. If not then no, you shouldn't.

Did your dr prescribe the nebulizer? 
Only use it if you have been prescribed and only with the medicine the dr prescribed. If you just use anything with it it won’t be the correct dosage.
If your dr did prescribe it then yes use it.
If dr didn’t prescribe it try a humidifier in their room at night, saline spray and a nose frida/booger sucker to unclog them. Sitting in a hot steamy bathroom with an open tub of Vick’s helps well too.

Please don’t. Your baby could be congested from anything, and pumping him full of what I’m guessing is some sort of steroid is not the answer unless your doctor has said so. 
My son was super congested, and we’re an asthmatic, allergic family. We have nebs and inhalers and steroids laying everywhere. I didn’t even think of using one. 
Side note - he has a mild milk allergy. Switched to Nutramigen and his congestion stopped immediately

talk to the doctor. mine used one when they were a couple months from doctor and it heloed alot. but depends on the childs needs
