got the best news ever💙💙
since 7 weeks my pregnancy has been considered high risk. firstly because i got pregnant a little less than a month after a chemical pregnancy. at our first appointment to see little one, they found a cyst on the umbilical cord. we were referred to a high risk specialist. on my first appointment with her, she noticed that my baby’s abdomen was still out, which she said isn’t normal since they usually go back in at 12 weeks, which i was. i had to go back the next week to make sure it went back in, which thankfully it did. on top of all of this, ive been suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum. i wasn’t gaining weight, i was losing it. i could go days without eating and not even realise because i felt so awful i just didn’t feel hungry. come 13 weeks, were in the ER due to bleeding & cramping. the doctor told me there was a subchronic haemorrhage. a blood clot on the placenta. he said it was likely caused by stress, so immediately they talked to my obgyn and agreed to put me on bed rest. when we saw the specialist again the following week, she confirmed the blood clot and said there was bleeding inside the uterus. she said it was a threatened miscarriage. well fast forward to 21 weeks. i measured at 21w5d, and the specialist told me the blood clot was getting smaller, and no longer a major concern, especially since i hadn’t been bleeding. now i’m only high risk because of the HG, but i’ve gained 3 pounds since being on the zofran pump. while i still have my really bad days when i can barely keep soup down, i tend to have a lot more good days. i’m very thankful for my little boy. he’s fought through so much already, and he’s still doing so well. he’s kicking me as i type this, and i’m thankful for eveey second of it.

definitely one blessed mama 💙 i love my rainbow baby. 💗
