Does dropping early mean baby is coming soon?

I'm almost 35 weeks, and I dropped about a week ago. With my first I didn't drop until about 2 weeks before baby was born. This second baby is measuring way bigger than our first, and he has dropped already. Should I be worried about him coming sooner rather than later? Help!

No. I dropped early (33-34 weeks) had home only a week early

nope i was fully engaged at 28 weeks with my first. i seen her at 36 weeks and she told me i would have her in the next fortnight.  i gave birth at 37 weeks. dunno how she knew. i think when she done a cervical check i must have been effaced 🤷‍♂️ so i spent 9 weeks with a dropped baby

I dropped at 35 weeks and have birth at 40+3. It’s different for everyone though.

I dropped pretty early and didn’t go into labor until 41+1.

I dropped around 32 weeks and it's my first baby. I'm now almost 38 weeks
