Anyone have a delivery plan they would like to share?

I know things won't go absolutely according to plan, but I wanna know what you guys would LIKE to happen when you give birth.

i plan to give birth at a birthing center, so the majority of what i would put on my 'plan' is what they do normally. buttt anyways! my boyfriend will 100% be there. my mom, weve joked my whole pregancy that i will be a big strong girl (😂) and not need her, but i knowwwwww the instant i go into labour ima be like MOMMMMMMMY NEVER LEAVE MY SIDEEEE soo she will be there too! i will have a water birth, skin to skin right awayyyyy! minimum of 1 hour before they do anything with the baby (weight, shots, what ever else). delayed cord clamping until the cord stops pulsing, and then daddy cuts the cord! breastfeeding right away. no bath for a whileeee (havent decided how long yet but at least not the first day). hmmmmm i dont think im missing anything. I have an apointment with my midwife next week where we will discuss all the vaccinations and treatments that can be given when the babys born, so we will decide on those then!

Make it to the hospital and not give birth in the car. That’s the only plan I have — and now that I said it out loud, I probably will. All I wanted with my first was an epidural and she came too fast to get one. My suggestion is to pray to have the strength, focus, and determination to get through whatever the universe sees fit 😉

I made a birth plan and in the moment I honestly didn't care about all the little details lol: I would pick the top 3-5 things that are important to me and stick with that. Mine were, I wanted an epidural, I wanted my mom with 24/7😂, I needed dark and quiet during contractions, and I wanted time with baby before visitors(outside of my immediate family). That's just my suggestion. But making that extensive plan was fun lol just letting you know you won't always care as much in the moment
