Cervix check almost been 48 hours still bleeding

Had my first cervix check Tuesday afternoon. It’s been about 44 hours and the bleeding is still there. Not bright red, just the brownish color. Normal? It hasn’t decreased any. Still using panty liners and still covering the toilet paper on the first wipe and noticeable on the 2nd if not the 3rd. I had lost of cramping yesterday and have had some today. I was 2cm Tuesday and 36 weeks today.
