Sex before ovulation for a girl, after ovulation for a boy?

Had anyone done this specifically to achieve a boy or a girl and has it actually been true? They say if you bd before ovulation I guess the sworn containing X chromosomes live longer and the y die off hence the baby becomes a girl. And if you bd day of or after it becomes a boy because the y Sperm swim faster and reach the egg first. Has anyone purposely aimed for one of the other and only bd at those times and it’s occurred?

Just curious, at this point in bd all the time cause I just want a freaking baby! Though I’m more leaning towards a girl..
