For me the stitches were the worst part of the entire thing. Ive never understood it but the stitches hurt more then pooping out the baby

My first two I tore a bit. My third I didn’t tear at all! Just depends

9 lb baby and barely tore. Only had to have 1-2 stitches

I didn’t tear but had an episiotomy, I’ve heard they’re worse than tearing. I’m 8 months pp and I can still feel a twinge every now and then

FTM. Natural birth. Didn't hurt when I tore but I had a second degree tear and got stitches. Wasn't terrible. Just used some ice packs and witch hazel pads.

Yeah, 2 first degree tears. The recovery wasn’t horrible.

No. I was cut. And needed local anesthesia for the stitches cause getting them hurt more than childbirth itself

My LO decided she wasn't waiting till 8 was 10cm dilated and made an appearance at 6cm. Tore right round and had stitches 😩
