I was being eaten out, I had a tampon in because I’m on my period but when I orgasmed, there was an extreme amount of throbbing. It felt soooo good. Do you think that the tampon was the advocate for this? Help! I want it to happen again!

1. Having sex on your period, even being eaten out on your period is not gross. And for the squeamish, especially not with a tampon in. People can shut up about gross. Some people like period stuff, some like ass stuff, some like squirting (which is basically pee, btdubs). To each her own. It’s your life.
2. When you’re on your period, you have increased blood flow not only literally out of your body, but also internally to your vulva. Sometimes your vagina or vulva will hurt for seemingly no reason during your period because the excess blood flow there can make you really sensitive.
3. SO. With a state of sexual arousal causing increased blood flow to your vulva as well as your period causing the same thing, having your clit stimulated and having something penetrating you could very easily cause that throbbing feeling, especially after orgasming. Your tampon is the culprit, but had accomplices.

PS. I use a menstrual cup, and my man goes down on me during my period if I’m up for it. (Ya know, sometimes you just feel gross.) He’s even earned his red wings, but from another girl. I’m abstinent, so that’s off the table. He knows I prefer fingering normally, but I’m too sensitive and a heavy bleeder during my period, so we just leave it alone. Back when I wore tampons, sometimes if I was really aroused, I would get that throbbing feeling, but now that I use a cup, it’s not something hard and straight but squishy and flexible, so it doesn’t feel the same or cause that throbbing.
