What’s wrong with my belly piercing???

I’ve have my belly button pierced for about 5 months now and right after it was pierced there was what I thought was a bruise but it hasn’t gone away and some days it looks worse and there’s always crust around it I usually clean it with either sea salt water or peroxide can anyone help or tell me if it’ll go away?

It’s trying to heal. They take at least 1 year to heal completely on ANYONE. Just keep cleaning it and don’t mess with it too much.

It also looks like it could still be healing. Did you use all the stuff they told you to use religiously?

I'd Say treat it with a salt a sailoid  (or smth like That) and if it continues to grow see your piercer, if they think it's a kieloid go to your doctor asap

I had this happen and my piercer had me dissolve a Tylenol or ibuprofen in water and use the paste on a Q-tip around that area. It fixed it after a few weeks!

If you wear high wasted paints it could be irritated by the constant rubbing so wear low pants and it seems pretty new so let it heal and clean it after you get out of the shower so any build up can be cleaned out

You’re not supposed to use peroxide.

... who told you to use peroxide ? Peroxide and tea tree oil are terrible for piercings they’re so drying. The sea salt soaks will help and putting in better quality jewelry as well. Like titanium. and make sure you only touch it with clean hands !
