How do y’all get over long term relationship break ups?

I need some girl advice to how to handle my almost 1year relationship that my ex just ended out of nowhere..

You are gonna have to give yourself time to heal so cry everything out and watch some sad movies and eat LOTS of ice cream but after you are done with all of that which shouldn’t be too long, go out with friends, go to places you’ve always wanted to go distract yourself as much as possible and you will eventually feel good again
