Rock n play?

Question

How do y’all feel about these? I work as an infant teacher and I know they are not recommended for safe sleep. Neither are swings or bouncers or boppys or dock a tots or basically anything that isn’t a flat bassinet or crib mattress. I don’t plan on letting baby nap in it really but sticking him in it while I cook dinner and can still keep an eye on him, things like that? Opinions?

Completely fine! Lol that’s what thy are for. They are fine for naps too, just not a full overnight sleep.

My daughter slept in hers until she was 4 months that was the only thing she slept well in and once she was sleeping through the night she transitioned to her crib really well she had no issue at all with it!

My son slept in it every night for four months. Wouldn’t sleep flat in anything. He napped in it too. Our pedi was fine with it as he had a bit of reflux early on so the acid going up his throat would wake him up if he was flat.

my daughter slept in hers for months. she has horrible acid reflux and it helped her sleep so well, plus the rocking motion put her to sleep quickly; her pediatrician had no problem with her sleeping in it. it was a life saver imo, and the transition from rock n play, to a flat surface, only took a few days.

I use mine for storage honestly 🤷🏾‍♀️ but everyone recommends it so I would say it’s worth the buy

We avoided rock n plays and swings at all costs. I didn’t want to start that sleep habit. Our daughter napped and lounged in her DockATot until she was about 4 months old. From there, she just sat on the floor with toys when I was getting something done.

Bahahaha... my son slept in his until he could roll.  It was a HUGE life saver for me because it was so much easier to move around and even take on trips with us!!

We loved our rock and play and it’s easy to move around if you need it in different rooms or if you’re going somewhere all day.
