why now?

Question

three days ago my hubby and I split up for good. I had to give up my uni course in Automotive. I had a scholarship and I was top of the class.
I have moved back to my home town which is so small. my son is a daddy's boy. always has been. he constantly asks for his daddy and Everytime I can't help but cry. I feel like I can't take care of him on my own because he looks so much like his father and it breaks my heart. am I the only one?

Same here but different... I have two kids the younger one looks like his twin but my older son is almost five and looks a lot like him too. Their dad has been in prison over a year and a half and he still cries for him very often and asks me all the time where he is and why he can’t come home. It’s so hard, tbh it feels like nothing I can do ever fills that hole in his heart. You’re not alone. All you can do is try your hardest. Wish you well.

My ex was abusive our whole relationship. Our son is a spitting image of him. It does make my heart ache at times when I see glimpses of my ex in my son, but 99.8% of the time I’m fine and he is my bottle of sunshine. It’s never affected my feelings and love for my son, and I don’t treat him any differently even though I can’t stand my ex. You can do it! The split will be hard, but being a loving mom for your son won’t be. ❤️

He depends on you, you have to do what’s best for him, take care of him, love and nurture him regardless your broken heart.
