Yeast infection and tear

So my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time being with each other over the weekend. The last time I had sex was when I was in a relationship in college, so about two years ago. We tried it a week ago but I could tell he was too big for me and I had to get a little more acclimated, so this weekend we had sex with a condom and my gosh it hurt a little bit I had to relax, once I relaxed I loosened up and it was nice. A few moments after I could tell I was irritated by there. The next morning I was a little sore, thinking since I haven’t been active in a while and him being big. I also thought it was my vagina reacting to the latex, a possible allergic reaction. So we had sex again, we were in the moment and he pulled out (I’ve been on BC for 4 years). Later on that day, I noticed I was more itchy and my vagina was still sore. I have type one diabetes and yeast infections are VERY common with diabetics. I took a mirror and noticed a bunch of yeast as well as a tear on the outside of my vagina (ouch!).

***So my question is, has anyone ever experienced a yeast infection hours after having sex with a condom/ without codon? Or a yeast infection with a tear from your man being so big?

I have a doctors appointment right after work, but I’m here wanting to kill time, and see if this is common.
