Does my baby need a helmet for “flat head”
Was curious as my health visitor cancelled our last visit and so my little one has not been seen for a bit and I have made a dr apt but it’s not for a week and I am concerned after talking to a friend who’s baby just got a helmet, she said she thinks my child may need one.
Here are some photos.
Is this normal? She has a very small flat surface on the back of her head, I don’t see any issues with her ears lining up and anything from the side.
Just wanting other moms opinions on if your babies head is the same and this is in the normal range or if you think it isn’t.
I took her to get her shots last month and they said nothing about it.

Thank you.
It’s very hard to tell if it just looks off because of the angle or if her head should be more round.
She cosleeps and usually on her side. (Not looking for opinions on co sleeping respectfully.)
She’s a year old next month.
I have a bed that only I sleep in and she has her own bed which is sidecar with mine and it isn’t a hard cot mattress or anything so I’m not sure why she has the flat space because she spends all day being active and spends very little time on her back.
I appreciate you reading this post and your advice
