Would you name your baby a name you hate?

Are there certain names you just hate? For me I hate names like Henry, George, Bob, Peter, Frank... (pls don’t be offended if those are names you chose!!)

Ok so I got myself a little dilemma. I’m 11 weeks, so the gender is unknown right now. My man, told me his mother would like the name PETER/PETE for either first or middle name for a boy!!!!! reason for that is because his brother passed away due to cancer a few years back. I understand hugely because my sister passed away October 2017.. if my baby is a girl, her middle name will be Lynn. (Sisters name is Lynda) so I do fully understand why she wants Peter.

I feel absolutely HORRIBLE! For not really wanting to name my baby to be a Peter.. even for the middle name. Just hate it....

so what I’m asking is, if my baby is a boy, do I have to bite the bullet and put Peter in the name?!!! Because after all, it’s not just my baby....

He agreed with the middle name Lynn right away. He didn’t seem to care lol so I asked him if it was important to him to have Pete/Peter in the name and he said yes.... damn.... i guess i won’t be a heartless b**** and use it as the middle name. lol now I’m praying even more my baby is a girl lol 😋
