My lovely wife is 27 weeks pregnant today, and broke down crying because she realized she had more stretch marks than she thought. I helped her see them by taking a picture, and now she’s worried that her body won’t be the same and I won’t find her attractive.

She uses some lotion everyday to reduce the chance of getting marks, but it happens anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can encourage her about these marks? Will they fade after pregnancy? I love my wife very much and don’t care if she has stretch marks, but I think her high emotions are hindering my words from making a real impact.
