Loan Woes

Sooooooo, I’m exactly $7,624 short on money for college. My parents have shit credit and I have no credit, so we literally cannot get accepted for a loan anywhere and the school has done “all they can” to get me more money. I’m going to either have to pull almost 8k out of my ass by August or settle for the community college in town (there’s nothing wrong with this, just not what I want for myself and my future.) I’m so ticked and so upset and I just don’t know what to do. Has anyone had this issue and found a way around it? Does anyone have any advice and/or words of encouragement? I’m to the point where I’m asking for prayers and I RARELY do that.

UPDATE #1: My mom was able to come across $2,096 through something her dad had set up before he passed away. I’m currently short roughly about $5,500 at the moment. It’s a start, but I’m not out of the woods. I’m praying soooo hard that we can come up with the money. Please continue to send your good vibes my way. They’re much appreciated.

UPDATE #2: My cousin just called to inform us that I got a $500 scholarship from the high school my mom/grandma graduated from. It’s not much but I’m only $5000 short now! Please continue the prayers and good vibes.

UPDATE #3: I was approved for the extra loan, so as of right now we’re only about $1,000 short! The school is working with me and trying to find another grant and a possible scholarship to cover even more of the cost, but if they are unable to, my mom said that the monthly payments (it equals out to roughly $150 a month now) is doable. Unless something unforeseen happens, I get to go to this school in the fall!! Thank you all for the prayers and advice and good vibes. Please keep them up!
