Carrying small/not showing?!

Okay ladies, I’m freaking out. Why? Because I’m a crazy hormonal pregnant woman who doubts everything and needs reassurance that all is okay. Lmao. Now, I am 19w5d today, and you literally cannot tell. I had a little pooch (this is my first pregnancy, btw) before I got pregnant, but I’m still just in that “Is she pregnant or just chubby?” stage. I’m so worried that my 20 week scan will find something is wrong and my girl isn’t measuring right. She’s been actively moving/kicking for about a week now, so that does make me feel better. I guess my question here is has anyone else not been showing by 20 weeks, and did your scan go okay? I just need some reassurance because I don’t get my scan for another two weeks!

With my first (and currently headed that same way) I stayed in the “pregnant or just chunky” category for what seemed like most of my second trimester. My son measured a day ahead at his 20 week scan, and he was born at 39 weeks weighing 6 lbs 4oz and perfectly healthy. The size of your belly/bump is no indication of how the baby is growing. So women might get large bumps and have a smaller baby and some women may stay on the smaller side of the bump spectrum and have larger babies! Try not to stress and enjoy being able to fit most of your clothes and not be miserable in the summer heat!

I didn’t show at all until 25 weeks with my first and she was just fine... came out 5 days late at 8 lbs 2 oz... absolutely perfect!

This is my first baby two. I’m 19w and 3 days and I hear from people all the time “you don’t even look pregnant” but I feel like I do I just dress in layers cause it’s kind cold sometimes. But I didnt really start to notice my bump till now. I also read somewhere based on height you may not immediately show. But I would worry to much.

Me too! I just look fat lol now granted I was already plus size before. Size 14. It also depends on what angle you’re looking at. This baby likes to stay inward.
