Would you be okay with someone handling your child like this?

**disclaimer** I just started working in childcare and that’s why I’m asking. Sorry if thinking this is wrong if you think it’s okay. I guess in that case I’m just a big softie.

I just started working at this childcare place. I’m the one year old teacher and share a room with the two year old teacher. The room is split.

Anyways, she’s constantly yelling at them. I rarely hear her speak kindly, nicely to them. On top of that I never see her interact with them on the playground nor in the classroom. The only time I see her interact with them is after lunch when she needs to read them a book. Then when she’s trying to get more “difficult” ones to nap she will hold them down with her leg. I’ve also seen her kind of violently pull them by the arm for not coming to her when she’s called them. Today I saw kind of shove one of them away too. On top of that she decides what rules she wants to follow, such as she won’t wear gloves for passing out food or sit with them during lunch time.

She’s also new but has worked in child care before.
