I’m trying really hard to be a switch

ok so I’m such a sub and my boyfriend is a switch. I’ve always been open to pegging so when he asked me early in our relationship i said yes, but with time. Months go by and I finally felt like I had the confidence and f-yeah attitude to use a strap on for the first time but we were unfortunately interrupted. He keeps mentioning it and I keep blowing it off but it’s only because I’m feel so intimidated being Dom. I need help, tips and advice on how to make my situation a bit better
