My crush likes one of my best friends

Ok ladies so I’m in 9th grade and so is my crush and my best friend is in grade 10

So I have like this guy for about 7 weeks she knew and still flirted with him then he told her that he liked her and she came running to me for help me being the nice friend I am I help her talk to him even when it was eating me alive and she knew it he didn’t know so I told him (my best friend and him arnt dating they just have a thing) he was shocked and told my best friend she told him to stay with her so him being the nice guy he is said sorry and said no I like her not you 😓 of course I saw this coming but I still had to tell him how I feel...me and my best friend where sitting down and talking when he say a guy come up to me and make an inappropriate comment to me and my best friends so he grabbed the guy and made him say sorry to ME NOT HER. I said thanks and he was starting to get close to me but my best friend saw and started saying she kinda liked him he was happy and walked away then she told me I don’t like him he’s gross my other friend pulled me a side and told me she is just playing with hi s feelings and I’m the long run he was gonna get hurt but atm he is happy and all I wanted. Was for him to be happy and if that’s how he wants to be happy I’m fine with it but what I’m not fine with is how my so called best friend try’s making me jelly about him liking her not me I just shrug it of...but lately when I’m near her its like her purpose to pick on me about it or making me help her with the thing they have going on the only reason I’m doing that cause all I want is for him to be happy...at this point she still doesn’t like him and its pushing me over the edge I was talking to him and he said that me and him shouldn’t talk much cause he doesn’t want to upset her I get it but that hurt now I really just wanna talk to him but idk wha to do any more plz help me btw I still like him..,
