8 weeks old only has 4 ounce in a feed?

I formula feed my 8 week old and I’ve found out he should be having 6-8 ounces in a feed but I can only give him 4. Is this normal? Should I try encourage him to feed more or just let him go with the flow?

My baby is almost 3 months old and only eats 4oz every feeding. Let baby eat what they can eat. Don’t worry about what people say as long as baby is gaining weight/having good output in diapers and /or eating enough total oz throughout the day - it’s fine. Don’t stress or force feed - this causing tummy issues and teaching to eat until they’re STUFFED rather than when they’re full. You’ve got this momma :)

My five month old usually only eats 4 oz at a time, sometimes just two. Very unpredictable which is inconvenient lol. If he stops eating we save the bottle in the fridge for later. Idk if you’re supposed to do that but we do and he’s fine.

Baby is almost 6 months old and just started drinking 5 ozs a feeding soooo whoever told you that. Every baby is different some are drinking 8oz at this point but our dude is small.

My son is 9 months and we have yet to get an 8 oz bottle into him. 7 is the most and right before bed. He did four oz for almost three or four months and then moved to 6 oz which is where we are now. Let him decide.

my LO will be 4 months old on Friday and she just started eating 5-6oz.  every baby is different.  he'll let you know when he's ready for more 😊

My baby is 8 weeks also and only eats 3-3.5 ounces per feeding at most. Here in the last few days even less. She'll eat maybe 2 ounces, then be done and an hour later she'll have another ounce. She's doing well and not losing weight so I'm not really concerned.
