When is the right time to have your second baby?

My husband and I are debating when to have another baby, our only child is 2 months right now. We have decided that we for sure want a sibling for our baby so now it’s just a matter of when??

“Experts” will say 12-18 months is when you should start trying again. But imho I think people should just do what is best for them. If having them close together is ok, and you take lots of vitamins and are super healthy, then go for it, but if you wish to wait longer then do that instead. It’s completely up to you guys. There’s always pros and cons to whatever decision is made.

My girls are 18months apart. it's freakin hard man. but my eldest is difficult anyway which is honestly most of my issue where as my youngest is an absolute breeze and the most easy going. the benefit of having them close in age is more financial because theres no need to rebuy things after years of getting rid of items like cots/high chairs/ baby baths etc,  and/or  not having to store those kids of things in storage. you do kinda have to be fit coz you run after them constantly and usually they go in different directions lol
