Sciatica pain in buttock/leg anyone??

Hey. I’m 14 weeks. So I suddenly developed sciatica in my left buttock. My sister says she had it too when she was pregnant and is common! Omg it is so painful. Have tried stretches and heat packs. It’s making bending or leaning to do things soooooo painful. Any tips or advice please?? X

Yup! Mine started at 12 weeks. Had it with my last pregnancy too. I found some good stretches online that helped but didn’t completely get rid of it.

I had of so bad about a week ago what worked for me has sleeping on a heating pad. It took about 3 days to feel relief

Look up Pregnancy Pelvic Girdle Pain. Much more likely to be that than sciatica. Often mistaken. My butt and hips are killing me. I was really hoping for an easier 2nd trimester after the sickness of the first. I am currently strapped up with KT tape and tonight I start pregnancy yoga to try and help it.

Proper support shoes go a LONG way when dealing with sciatica also I found sleeping on something firm helps me to not wake up in pain so I’m on the couch!! It’s super firm and I LOVE it I get up with ease and I’m not sore all day stretching is good too I’m here for you I’ve had sciatica in all 3 of my pregnancies all starting earlier each subsequent pregnancy it’s not fun but it’s manageable!!

Mine started at 6 weeks. Was horrendous now just comes in episodes some days I'm fine some I'm not

You could always look into physical therapy or chiropractor. I’m a physical therapist assistant and considering going to a chiro for my SI pain 😩 all the exercises I know aren’t helping ☹️

mine started a couple of weeks ago. biofreeze and warm salt baths are my only relief

No advice so far but I have it too at 14 weeks. Sister said it might be time to start wearing a belly band early
