Classic c section

I had an emergency c section at 34 weeks due to placental abruption and preeclampsia. They did it vertical inside but horizontal on the outside. It's been about 1.5 yrs since my delivery and I'm currently 18 weeks. My dr told me I have to have repeat c sections because of the cut but I want to hear yalls thoughts. I really want to try natural but I'm not putting my baby in danger. Any successful stories? I just need to know it's absolutely not an option for me. I don't want to just give in if there's a chance.
