Softcup and IUD

Does anyone use Softcups with their IUD if you have a period?? Does it interfere with the string at all since it sits up higher than a tampon or diva cup? I just got some and I’m nervous to use them because I don’t want to pull on my string. When I went to the gyno, she said my strings were way up high and I can’t reach them on my own. They had just softened over time and moved upward from having sex and whatnot.

So any ladies on here use Softcups even though they have an IUD? Thanks for all the help!
