Is he right to be mad at me?

My husband and I are moving soon. We officially buy our house this Thursday. Well, for the last couple day’s we have been doing a small amount of packing. I work and so does he. Yesterday and today are my day’s off. Yesterday I did packing. Today, I started my period and have a bad headache so I decided to just take a day to relax since my job is also really stressful. My husband came home from work and is really mad that I didn’t pack today. Like he doesn’t want to talk to me mad. I explained to him that I just really hurt and don’t feel well and he doesn’t care. Is he right to be mad at me though? Should I have sucked it up and packed?

youre moving this week and you had the entire day to prepare but you wasted the whole day cause of a headache. we all get our cycle every month but that doesnt give us a free pass. You should've taken some meds and drank some water and sucked it up. Your responsibilities dont go away just cause you arent feeling the best. I would probably be upset if my partner was home all day and didn't do anything to help with something as big as a move.

I feel like part of the day could have been spent packing - that way something was accomplished. Moving is stressful for everyone. I don’t think he should be giving you the silent treatment but I do think he has the right to be upset.

Life goes on.. I understand it hurts, I get migraines but I take meds and power on. You are moving. Time to take care of business. Life doesn't stop because you are bleeding it happens.

You still should have packed. Take a few hours, take a nap, a bath, get some meds, etc. but then pack.

I get periods where I cannot move - no matter what meds or remedies.  The pain is so bad I basically just knock myself out and sleep. If I had one of those days there’s 0 chance I’d be able to pack.

I have horrible cycles, the worst cramps, to the point I throw up from pain, I would’ve taken a Tylenol, rested for maybe an hour with a heating pack on & packed lightly as best I could. My bf would be super annoyed if we were in the same situation. I understand his frustration & I understand you not feeling well, but sometimes you gotta just try your best to keep moving forward.

I'd personally take a middle ground. which isn't an option on your poll. he has a right to be angry, but you also have a right to say no can do. personally, I would have taken some meds and a nap and whenever I felt like I could, I would have packed but not with the same furver done otherwise. I don't know how bad your menstrual headaches get, I know mine get pretty bad, but if you could have gone to work with one, you should have done some packing. If you get them so bad that you likely would have called into work, then rest was best. what alot of the people on this app don't understand is that your pain tolerance and symptomology is different from theirs. you know your body best, if you needed a break, you needed a break. But he still has every right to his feelings.
