So we moved back near our families. We are directly in the middle. My mother in law in insisting on stopping by once a week? Am I being crazy as my husband is hardly home as is and weekends will be my only time with him. I don’t want to sound harsh but I just can’t handle that.

Set boundaries you are comfortable with! Talk with your husband and make it clear that you can’t handle once a week visits. Ask for what you are able to handle. Perhaps 2x a month and only if she calls in advance? Other things can be scheduled if your schedule and his is clear and you want to do something. And no visits without a call/test to find out if you are free for visitors. Good luck!
