Has there been anytime when you and your partner have gone a day without talking to each other? Haven’t heard from my boyfriend all day. I try to be as understanding as possible as I know some people aren’t attached to their devices and have busy lives but it does bother me. I know this isn’t normal in a relationship...

Personally I would be okay with it. I'm an introvert and don't use my phone much so I used to sometimes go a day without texting my boyfriend. It wasn't that I didn't want to talk to him. I just enjoy time to myself. It actually took me awhile to figure out that he was upset about this. I had no idea because to me it was normal. He finally talked to me about it and so now I try to text him more often. So my advice would be to have a conversation with him about your expectations when it comes to communication. He might not realize the problem unless you talk about it.

It's not normal for my bf and I to go that long without talking. if hes gonna be busy he texts me and says he will txt me when hes done but it's never longer than 2-3hours

We usually talk but some days we won’t text at all but I see him at home.

We don’t text while he’s at work as he’s a manager so he’s busy. At home we always talk though.
