Baby shower with amazon registry

I have my baby shower coming up this weekend and have already received a bunch of gifts from the registry. We registered on amazon.com so a bunch of boxes have come to my house from both people attending and not attending the shower.

Should I bring the boxes to the shower and open them there? The shower is at my moms house which isn’t far away so transporting them isn’t a problem. I want the people there to know I got their gift but I don’t want it to be awkward just opening cardboard boxes from amazon. And I certainly don’t want it to seem like I need the attention by opening them all in front of people!
