Help! Painful sex

So my man and I tried to have sex before I leave tomorrow for my trip and usually Im a lil on the dry side but I was spotting today. theres always a lot of foreplay involved because im on the dry side of life lol but tonight I seemed to be extra extra dry because it hurt when he was in me....I dont remember the technical term so lets just be real... and I had a burning sensation. I dont have any std’s and i’ve only slept with my man. Also no uti but I do have an overactive bladder. What could this be from? Is it because I was spotting? Is it normal? Help a girl out please I feel pissed because it was just getting to the good part and I had to have him stop because it hurt and burned
