Placenta Previa question?

I was told at my last dr apt that I had placenta previa. Dr didn’t put me on bed rest or anything and I’m still working. Could it hurt the baby or make it worse? I’m new to this I didn’t have this with my daughter. What did ur dr do with you at your next apt? Thanks for any input!

You can continue as normal with your pregnancy and just hope the placenta moves up. Most of the time as your uterus grows there’s a very good chance it will. If it doesn’t, you will have a c-section. Typically bed rest isn’t required. You still have lots of time left in your pregnancy for it to move. I’m sure your Dr. Will check again by week 36 to confirm if it has or not.

Over a week ago I was also told I had placenta Previa. Doctor asked if I ever had any bleeding. “No.” He said there is a 90% chance it will move up and things will be fine. We have another US scheduled for 30 weeks to check. I was 19 weeks at the time.  My doctor told me, no heavy lifting and squats and no sex. I work out often. I take a spin class, spotted running but use the elliptical. He said spin was fine and to continue working out. If he didn’t put you in bed rest, I wouldn’t be too worried. He knows what he’s talking about. But I get it. I was so scared at first.

I got diagnosed with placenta previa at 11 weeks and I was on bed rest for 3 months no sex no heavy lifting and eventually it fixed itself I’m now 23 weeks and it has stayed where it belongs
If the doctor didn’t tell you no bed rest try and take things easy no heavy lifting and drink lots of water and be on pelvic rest so no bleeding occurs

That’s what I’m hoping that it will fix itself. But I guess we’ll see with the next dr apt.

I had placenta previa with my last pregnancy b4 this one I was bleeding so bad they thought my water broke I was placed on bed rest and pelvic rest and ws tld I may have had to gt a c section bt within a few weeks it corrected itself and I was able to deliver my baby vaginally and he was healthy I went full term and went in naturally on my own no induction
