It started on Monday June 18th 2018 around 7am, I started having some real contractions off and on. Went about my day took a shower, let the dogs out for dressed did my morning chores of misting our reptile cages then getting my older son ready for the day. After that I got our older son breakfast and a cup of milk and I ate a banana. Told my husband today might be the day!
I needed to scrape off the calcium off the glass doors of one of my reptile cages. After that I took our son down stairs, we watched coco while eatting snacks and I fed the dogs at some point in between the movie and snacks. Now it's like 11:30am and the contractions are coming more and more so I texted my mother in law and asked when her and dad would get off work and told her why. She said around 1:00 pm but she might not get off by then.
After I call the ob office since I had an appointment I asked to be seen early but nope. So we go to a park towards the doctors office but still close enouph to home just in case my mil was able to get off on time. So 1:45 came and the contractions are getting stronger and more frequently so I told my husband we need to drop off our son and head to the appointment.
Just in case my ob said to go into labor and delivery I stuffed my face with carrot spice cake lol I didn't feel like cooking. So we left to the appointment and my blood pressure was high and I was 4cm and 80 effaced and -3 with the baby's head. So he told me to wait alittle longer and I got labs done before I left. We get home and this is where shit starts to hit the fan I couldn't walk no more then like 5 steps without a contraction and at this point I'm crying and texting my husband to come down get our son upstairs and get him milk and me a snack and water. He helped me upstairs and I was able to fall asleep between the contractions for maybe one hour.
I get a call and the contractions start getting bad again. I called the hospital and told them what's going on and that I was afraid to waste a trip with little to no gas. She told me since I'm barely breathing through them and I'm crying a bit and I'm that dilated she doesn't see why I would be sent home. So off we go to the hospital.
I get all settled in and I'm still the same no progress. So they freaking sent me home lol. So I get not even 15 mins from my house (keep in mind my delivery hospital was 45 mins from my house) and as my contractions got so bad I was crying through them and keep in mind I had to drive because my husband's license expired etc. And pop there's goes my water.... as I'm turning around to go back and as my husband calls the hospital to let them know I'm on my way back, I'm crying horribly through the contractions.
We get there as I'm screaming no make it stop through the halls on my way up to labor and delivery I get checked I made it to 5cm but even though my pants were drenched and there was a puddle on the bed the nurse said I must have just peed myself... like no bitch this is my 3rd baby I know what i felt lol poor lady. Well I gave in to the epidural that I 100 percent did not want because I could calm down or breath through the contractions. I refused to let them check me again till I had it and it started working. Don't let me fool you I felt everything and it was amazingly awesome and painful. But when I did get checked I was already 9.5cm and all this happened within an hour I couldn't believe it. All of a sudden I think like 20 mins after that my body was naturally pushing during the painful contractions. He checks me again and I'm not ready they say why not get a few practice pushes in. Oh no I can't do this I kept saying but somehow within may be 5-15 mins he was out. And bad news I pooped lol but so did he haha they put him on my chest and like 30 mins later they take him from me to weigh him etc. And he pooped atta boy😍 and mega weren't even that numb and I didn't even need any stitches at all I'm so impressed.
Well that's my birth story sorry it wasn't that exciting but my baby boy Frankie was born 7 pounds 1 ounce and 19 inches long and has been doing well with latching. I would post pictures but my husband used his phone and itvwont let me use the camera to take one. Also I'm so proud of my husband for being such an amazing man through that horrible pain and he cut the umbilical cord for the 1st time😍😍😍
