Messed with a not-so-nice OB Nurse
I'm not generally a mean person, but I have a confession to make.
My OB is great, but she recently got a new nurse on staff. I happened to have her on her first day, and she wasn't very nice. Very brisk, not at all warm. I passed it off as new staff jitters till she measured my fundal height. I was 27 weeks at the time, previous measurement was 26 weeks, HER measurement was 24 weeks.
I watched her measure, and she did it wrong, but she didn't measure again (the previous nurse always measured 3x).
This time, I got the SAME new nurse, so I decided to mess with her a little. She pulled out that tape, and I took in a little breath and pushed out my uterus.
I am 32 weeks.
I stifled a giggle when she looked completely perplexed and said "woah. You're measuring 35 weeks!"
AND SHE STILL DIDNT REMEASURE!
😂😂😂😂😂
I'd had an ultrasound this morning so I already knew baby is perfectly on target, at 4lbs, and all is well.
I just had to confess that...I giggled all the way home..
