Has anyone ever tracked their ancestry? I want to, but i have no clue where to even begin! So if you’ve done this, and have any tips, please let me know!

As a semi professional genealogist, I'm super excited you want to start looking into your ancestry!
I suggest ancestry.com for easy tree making! All you need are your parents birth dates and your grandparents. As terrible as it sounds, even one deceased grandparent can be a great lead! And ancestry.com is super easy to do.
I did it for my friend and discovered her great grandparents were next door neighbors their entire life! I did my employers and discovered they'd been in America since the 1500s. And I did mine and found my great grandpa wasn't my great grandpa at all! He was my biological Gina's younger brother who married my ggma when ggpa left her!
