Can height stop you from getting a job

So I have a brother who is a dwarf not a legit dwarf but he’s more than half shorter than what he should be my 8 year old cousan is taller than him lmao. But today I walked in on my family talking about him because he leaves school soon and they was talking about him going to college and they was saying theres no point in him going to college because no one is ever going to hire him because of how small he is and saying he’s never going to be successful or have a proper career :/ I thought they was being really mean and I told them they was being pathetic and ridiculous and they said who would want to employ someone like him. Is this true they won’t hire him because he’s small because I’d hire someone small if I had a buisness.
