Aspiring Dog Groomer

Any dog groomers on here? I've done lots of research on the career, but looking for some people's personal experiences. I love all animals and growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, I realized that the job description also called for putting animals down if needed and my heart just can't handle that. I'm very interested in learning everything about grooming pets, even the cool dye jobs! I've applied at my local petsmart since they offer apprenticeships often, hoping I hear from them soon 🤞🏻 Any tips? Funny stories? How did you get started?
