Constant irritation down there.

I got the birth control implant inserted back in December, and it was fine in the beginning. But I kept getting yeast infections, and I went to the doctors and I was given a cream to use for about a week and it helped. But now I just have a constant itchiness/ burning sensation on my vagina.

I know it's not an STD or STI because I got tested as well when I went to the doctors, and I haven't been sexually active. But it is extremely uncomfortable. Originally I would wash with Dove sensitive skin soap on only the outside part of my vagina and between the folds never in it directly. So I decided to wash it with only water, but I haven't seen much improvement.

So as of now to deal with it I've just been applying Vagisil to the area, it helps temporarily but I have to reapply it.

Does anyone know what this is exactly? please help if you do.
