I graduated with about 15 other Ashley Nicole's. I feel like my mom went down to the nursery, asked what every other baby girls name was in the room, and went with that same name. She hates my daughters name (Harley) but I never ever wanted something basic for my daughter after growing up with the same name as everyone else.

My name was meant to be Hunter Claire and my 6 year old big brother at the time said suggested to my mom that my name be Hunter And Claire so i don’t get made fun of for having a boys name. Lol The finished product is Hunter Ann-Claire, and i really love it!

Yes and no my name is Cassandra but for the first 19 years of my life it was Cassie. People still try to label me with that name. Due to sexual abuse I delt with I associate that name with a weak little girl and my actual name is Cassandra makes me feel beautiful and confident as well as strong. But moving back to my hometown and my parents can’t forget it as well as my siblings I get it’s hard to change what you call people for ever but man it’s not the name even on my birth certificate. So yes and no! Haha

I hated my name in elementary because everyone either said "A-MAN-DUUUH" or "A man da hug n kiss". It was never in a funny joke way, but more so in a bullying rude way. I'm indifferent about my name now, but for years I wanted to change it. My SO told me he never wants me to change it because he loves it because he loves me.

My name is Molly and I used to hate it because literally everyone would say “oh that’s my dogs name” etc. but now I love it because my name reminds people of their loved dogs or singers from the 80s and they always smile! - sounds silly but I like making people smile :)

Emerald Cady Constance. i used to hate it bc it was weird, but i’ve come to realise how unique it is. whenever i tell people my name, they think it’s emily or emma. emerald isn’t a common name and im pretty thankful for that. i’ll never get confused for someone else 😂
