Last day of work?

I am going to be quitting my job to be a SAHM. This is my first pregnancy. I have a desk job and don’t mind working as long as possible, but I don’t want to go into labor at work (and don’t want to be generally miserable at work). I know we cannot predict, but would you recommend taking my last day at 38 weeks, 39 weeks, or another week? Thank you!

First pregnancies usually run late, but to be safe I would do 38 weeks :) Welcome to SAHM-hood!

I worked up until I was about 38 weeks and to he honest I appreciated the break and time to relax before I became a mum more than anything. You get some final me time rather than going straight from work into such a major life event

I just had my last day at work before leave and I am 38 weeks tomorrow. Honestly it couldn’t have a come a day earlier, though I have a pretty grueling commute on public transit so that may play into it more than my actual time at work.

I’m leaving work for maternity leave at 36 weeks! I was born 3 weeks early & my husband was 2 weeks early. I want to have time to just be home before the baby come.

I worked til the last day! I was due May 18! But I went to my appt @39 weeks and my doctor said she will induce me due to my BP being high !
