Drop-provera shot side effects

I’ve been on the depo shot for about 5 months. I’m one of the unlucky people that have very long periods on it. My last period was literally 30 days. The last 10-ish days were typically spotty but that’s still bleeding. It’s been a little while since then. But I’m spotty sometimes in between periods and I was wondering if that was normal? Also, I’m really freaking out because my mouth has been salivating more than normal so my brain won’t let me stop thinking I’m pregnant. Will anyone else share weird side effects on the shot so I’ll calm down? And I will be going to my Dr. soon to double check on everything.
