Help?? Bottle washing

So do you wash a bottle with dish washing soap and then sterilise and use ?? Or do you steralise then rinse and let dry? Do I need to buy a drying rack?? I’m a new mum and very confused I definetlu want to steralise bottles just confused as to the order

I wash with bottle soap so that way they don't become smelly than I put them in the sterilizer after that I put them in a drying rack. I sterilize once a day or sometimes every other day.

Sterilizing isn't necessary anymore. Hot soapy water or in the dishwasher is more than enough.

I had NO IDEA that people stopped sterilizing bottles! When did this happen? I mean I hear all this sterilization of hands and pacifiers and tables and so on and so on but a bottle that goes directly into a baby’s mouth doesn’t need to anymore? When did this happen?
I’m not an over sterilizer and believe germs are good for the immune system but pretty much the only thing I do sterilize (other than counter tops and bathrooms) are and will always be my baby’s bottles. I use the Avent microwaveable tub and it only takes 3 minutes (after washing them with dish soap or in the dishwasher).
Once baby starts crawling and picking up things and putting in his/her mouth then I will stop sterilizing.

I very rarely sterilized my daughter's bottles. I just washed with regular dish soap and a bottle brush usually.

Shit I didn’t even know you were supposed to sterilize them 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve always washed them with dish soap, rinsed well and air dried.

wash and sterilize then let air dry. there is a microwave bottle steamer that works amazing. I used it for everything. its like $20

I only sterilized them one time. I just wash em with regular dish soap and put them in the drying rack
